Graduated from University of California, Irvine with a B.A. in English and Single Subject Teaching Credential with a Master of Arts in Teaching at the University of California, Irvine

 

This is my 11th year of teaching, and I am blessed to be a part of the Bolsa Grande High School community.  As a proud product of Garden Grove Unified School District, I am eager to empower our youth through education, to prepare them for college and career, and to help guide them towards a successful future.  

 

I strongly believe that education is a communal effort in which teachers, students, administrators, and parents work with one another to ensure that all students are served and that all students have equitable access to academic success.

 

This school year, I am teaching 2 sections of AP Seminar and 3 sections of English 1P.  I am also the president of the School Site Council, I help co-lead the fall after school writing workshop, and I am a returning staff member of Bolsa Grande's 9th grade support CORE program, which aims at transforming the 9th grade experience.  I am thoroughly excited to see what successes and learning will be accomplished this school year.
