Hello from Mr. Dawkins

Happy 2024-2025 School Year!

 

My name is Mr. Dawkins! This is my ninth year teaching in GGUSD. I started my career in elementary school, teaching fifth grade at Hazard Elementary and Mitchell Elementary, then moved to Jordan Intermediate, teaching U.S. History and English 7R, for four years. I believe this varying experience has made me a well-rounded teacher and not only has it helped me build foundational principles of teaching but it has helped me see the progression of students throughout their academic career within our district.

 

I received my bachelor's degree in English Communications from Emmanuel College in Boston in 2010, received my teaching credential from California State University, Los Angeles in 2015 and I received my Master's in Education from San Diego State University in 2021.
