Counselor Duties

General Counselor Duties
- Provide personal, academic, and career counseling.
- Design and monitor individual student four-year plans.
- Register students in courses consistent with graduation and UC/CSU requirements.
- Access and analyze data to place students in appropriate courses and interventions programs.
- Facilitate Student Study Team meetings and parent/teacher conferences and manage 504 accommodation plans.
- Participate in student IEP meetings.
- Present College and Career Readiness Units as well as Guidance Lessons.
- Distribute fee waivers for the SAT and ACT exams
- Senior College Focus
- Graduation Status Letters
- 504 and SST Coordinator
